ABOUT US
The Salmon River County Riders are a group of motorcycle enthusiasts who are dedicated to the promotion of organized and responsible off-road motorcycle racing and recreational riding in New England. The Club organizes and sponsors a number of riding events throughout the year.
The Club also maintains and creates numerous trails for all users (e.g. equestrians and hikers) and performs various services for the community. The Salmon River County Riders have donated hundreds of man-hours to the maintenance of trials in the Cockaponset state forest. Here is a list of a few of the tasks the club has performed.
built bridges to protect streams
installed irrigation channels to prevent erosion on hills
built picnic tables for community use
removed fallen trees and large rocks from trails to keep trails passable
trim small plant growth to keep trails open and enjoyable
